Proper maintenance keeps vertical insertion machines stable for years — but common mistakes can undo it all. Avoid these:

1. Ignoring daily cleaning. 'It still runs' is not a maintenance plan. Dust and debris in the insertion head, tracks and feeding areas degrade precision and wear parts prematurely — clean regularly inside and out.

2. Treating lubrication as optional. Irregular or wrong-grade lubrication causes premature wear of moving parts. Follow the lubrication schedule with the specified grade — more is not better either.

3. Using non-genuine parts. Cheap copy blades and belts save pennies and cost hours: tolerance drift, insertion errors and collateral damage to other components.

4. Delaying small repairs. A small noise or slight accuracy drift is an early warning; running through it turns a minor repair into a major overhaul.
